Michael started studying photography at Porterville City College where he learned to shoot, develop, and print in black and white.  He continued at California State University studying photojournalism and working for Fresno State’s The Collegian student newspaper.  He continued photography as a hobby after graduating from college, taking pictures just for fun. 

He began using a digital format in 2007, but is most comfortable and prefers still working with film.  He photographs primarily landscape and nature subjects.  The photos on display include pictures taken in Italy, Alaska, California, and Arizona.
